Based almost entirely upon the recommendation of a close personal friend who had chosen Danco Builders to build his and his wife’s home in the Comfort area, I chose Danny Bezet to build my home in 2014. My long-time friend is an architect and knows good work when he sees it, so his recommendation carried a lot of weight for me. I found Danny to be a very likable guy when we met, so Danco Builders was an easy choice for me. I have been extremely happy with that choice. Danny was very involved in my project from the beginning. He helped me select property, recommended a great architect, and provided valuable input during countless planning meetings. When Sandra and I set out to find a builder for our retirement home in the Hill Country, we checked with some friends and real-estate people in the area. Danny Bezet, owner of Danco Builders, kept coming up with high praise. We met with Danny and visited some of his projects that were at different stages of completion; we liked what we saw. Quality building and products at a valued price, his ability to listen to our concerns and his mission to work on our behalf was what we were looking for in a builder. My wife didn't want to leave our children, our grandchildren, or her Dad, all living in Houston, where we grew up and spent the last 60 years of our life. This was my dream, not hers. To retire in the Hill Country - oh yeah! It wasn't even time to retire - but a medical event triggered an early exit and a jump start to the move. At least we managed to sell in Houston, just before the 2008 market crash - still, we were somewhat unprepared for the move, and ended up evicted from 2 lease/foreclosures in San Antonio while we tried to get our retirement home completed. First the wrong plan, then the wrong builder, then the wrong architect, then the price we couldn't afford and then - start all over - so much stress - we came very close to giving up - more than once. But then, along came Danco, or Danny Bezet to be more specific, and everything began to move in the right direction. I know I'm not an easy client, tend to be something of a perfectionist, and have a definite and unyielding idea of what I want. Still, Danny was able to work through the difficulties with me, and help me understand a lot about homebuilding that I didn't know. When I became frustrated that one, of a thousand details, had slipped - his constant and genuine response was "what can I do to make you happy?" That is the attitude that distinguishes a custom builder, and the sincerity with which it is spoken is what creates credibility. Danny's integrity as a builder is without question. Did I mention that he built our home in 120 days - on time and exactly on budget - and I've seen him do it now - four times in a row, unbelievable - six to ten months is the industry norm. In this case, not only did we save big on the interim construction financing, but we were going to be on-the-street, quite literally - if he didn't finish on time. And did I also mention that he cut no corners, built a quality home with quality materials, and he did it all - without tricks - just plain hard work. Now that we've moved into this beautiful home, my wife is claiming it as her dream too - and I'm so happy - she's happy, and all thanks to our hero - Danny Bezet. When my wife and I finally decided it was time to build our dream retirement home in Kerrville, we weren't sure where or how to start. We had never built a new home before. We really wanted a custom home, but after interviewing six area builders over the course of a year, we were getting a little discouraged about the prospect of realizing our dreams. Most of these builders were primarily interested in building million dollar homes. So we asked friends about other builders in the Kerrville area and Danco Builders was mentioned. We contacted Danny Bezet and were able to set up a meeting when we could be in the area. We were impressed with Danny from the first meeting, especially his knowledge, expertise, and also his patience with all our questions. After several discussions about our vision, his experience and cost estimates, we decided to go with Danny and Danco Builders because we believed he could provide us the home we wanted, at a price and completion schedule that fit in with our plans. We were not sure how smoothly the process would go since we were planning to be in Houston during most of the building phase. But, with the use of emails/texts/phone calls/videos, Danny was able to keep up apprised at every step of construction so we felt at ease. Danny promptly responded to all of our questions, which we greatly appreciated. At the beginning of the home building process, Danny told us we had homework to do, such as making decisions on hardware, appliances, plumbing, light fixtures, etc., and once those decisions were made, we would enjoy the building process. He was right! We had few, if any, issues during the process and really enjoyed being involved in our new house from the ground up. When we had wanted to make an impromptu change to the house during framing, Danny and his team didn't miss a beat and were able to quickly incorporate the change without any delay in the schedule. Danny was a good fit for our project throughout the process. All those who worked on the house were very professional and great craftsmen. Our dream home is a source of pride for us and exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to many happy years of retirement in Kerrville and entertaining family and friends there. When we decided to build our hill country home near Center Point, we knew it would be a challenge to find the right builder to fit our needs. We had built before, and the process had us a bit concerned because the previous experience had been less then desirable. After interviewing builders, we decided to go with Danco Builders. Both of us immediately recognized Danny’s enthusiasm and knowledge, and how personal he was toward out project. We knew he was the builder for us! Raydell, my wife, and I were finally ready to build our dream home in the Texas hill country. We knew there were several builders in the area but we had a budget to meet regarding price. After a few interviews, somebody recommended Danco builders. We met with Danny Bezet and found him to be very personable, polite and professional. We agreed to go with Danny and within about four months, our beautiful home was finished. We recently moved our family over five hundred miles to Boerne, Texas. What could have been an ordeal in finding a new home turned out to be a pleasure when we chose Danco Builders as our homebuilder. It took Danco Builders less than 120 days from start to finish to complete our new home. On an almost daily basis, owner Danny Bezet made certain that we were kept informed on every aspect of our home’s status. At all times, Danny made us feel like we were his most important clients. When we were still just dreaming, we found our perfect house plan and held onto it for ten years until we were finally ready to build in 2005. We chose Danco Builders because of owner Danny Bezet's experience, fair pricing, and good reputation in the community. We then took that "perfect" plan and promptly decided to increase the square footage, add extra doors & cabinets here and there, and put in a carport.
